About IB – International Baccalaureate Diploma Program

IB Diploma program คือหลักสูตรการเรียน 2 ปีที่เน้นเตรียมความพร้อมนักเรียนอายุ 16 ถึง 19 ปีสำหรับการเรียนต่อในระดับมหาวิทยาลัย IB มีสองระดับคือ Standard level (SL) และ Higher Level (HL) โดยที่วิขาใน IB HL บางวิชาสามารถโอนไปเป็นหน่วยกิตในระดับมหาวิทยาลัยได้ IB ประกอบด้วย 6 กลุ่มวิชาได้แก่


  1. Language and Literature A1
  2. Language acquisition เช่น French, German, Spanish 
  3. Individuals and societies เช่น History, Economics, Business
  4. Sciences เช่น Biology, Physics, Chemistry 
  5. Mathematics
  6. Arts เช่น Dance, Music, Film


โดยผู้เรียนสามารถเลือก 3-4 กลุ่มวิชาเป็น HL และเลือกกลุ่มวิชาที่เหลือเป็น SL ได้
